The Floral Jacquard Window Valance

What it is and how it is made

The Floral Jacquard Window Valance is a single-piece window topper cut from 100% polyester jacquard weave. The fabric has a matte finish, so it softens glare without a shine. The floral pattern is woven into the fabric, which gives the panel a raised texture that reads well from across a room.

The valance has no blackout coating. It filters light and adds a finished edge to the top of a window while letting daylight through the lower panes. The weave holds its shape, so the panel hangs straight with a gentle drape.

Size

One size is available.

The 53 in (135 cm) width suits standard and wide windows, and the 30 in (75 cm) drop covers the top of the frame plus the curtain heading below it. Measure your window and the drop you want before ordering.

Colors

Choose from six colors:

• Gray

• Blue
• Red

Gray and beige blend into neutral rooms. Black and brown add weight to a space. Blue and red bring a deeper tone to a living room or dining room. Each color uses the same floral jacquard weave.

How to fit and use it

This valance installs at the ceiling. Rod and rod pocket are not included, and ceiling installation hardware is required. Plan for the mounting points above the window before you begin.

The panel is sold as a single piece, so order the number of panels your window needs. It suits living rooms, dining rooms and French windows, and it works over sheers, cafe curtains or a full curtain pair. The floral weave pairs well with solid curtains and simple rods.

Care

Machine wash cold. Hang dry. Iron on a low setting if needed. Wash the panel on its own or with similar colors to keep the matte finish even.
