What it is and how it is made

The Beaded Waterfall Jacquard Valance is a single window panel made from 100 percent polyester in a jacquard weave. The fabric is sheer and light, so daylight still comes through while the weave adds a quiet pattern across the top of the window. A beaded trim runs along the lower edge and gives the panel its waterfall look, with the beads catching light as the fabric moves. The panel is sold as single-piece, and the beaded trim is included.

The top is a rod pocket with an upper open design. That means the rod slides through the pocket and the top edge stays open, which helps the fabric fall in loose folds instead of sitting flat against the rod. The finish is simple and works with most standard curtain rods.

Sizes and specs

One size is offered. Each panel is 51 in (130 cm) wide and 35 in (90 cm) long. The width is measured per panel, so if you want fuller coverage across a wide window, order more than one panel. The rod pocket fits most standard rods, and the upper open top keeps the heading soft.

Colors

Three colors are available:

• White: bright and clean, good for light walls and small windows.
• Black: a deeper look that frames the window and adds contrast.
• Cream: a warm neutral that sits easily with beige, tan or wood tones.

All three use the same sheer jacquard fabric and the same beaded trim. The color you pick changes the mood more than the function, since the fabric stays light in every option.

Where it works

This valance suits flat windows, and it can also top a door or a small cafe window. Because the fabric is sheer, it works well in rooms where you want some privacy at the top of the window without losing daylight, such as a kitchen, dining room, bathroom or home office. The waterfall shape and beaded edge give it a dressier feel than a plain straight valance, so it fits rooms with a traditional or European touch.

Use it on its own as a topper, or layer it over a sheer curtain or blind for more coverage. If you use more than one panel on a wide window, space them evenly so the beaded edges line up. The upper open top means the panel hangs from the rod pocket rather than from rings, so no extra hardware is needed beyond the rod itself.

Care

Machine wash cold. Hang dry. Use a low iron if needed, and press on the reverse side to protect the beaded trim. Wash with like colors and avoid harsh detergents to keep the sheer fabric and the beads in good shape.
