This is a single curtain panel cut from 100 percent polyester velvet at 300 gsm. The pile is short and matte, so it reads as deep black rather than shiny, and the weight gives it a straight, heavy fall at the window. The fabric is woven and dense, which is what gives it its light blocking and heat insulation qualities. It is a solid color with no pattern, no double layer and no separate blackout coating. Tiebacks are not included.
Pick the size that matches your window and the drop you want. Width is listed first, then length. A common approach is to choose a total panel width about one and a half to two times the window width so the fabric has some fullness when closed.

Measure your rod or track first, then measure from the top of the rod to the point where you want the panel to end. Floor length, sill length and a slight break at the floor all work with this fabric.
Color: black. That is the only option on this panel, and it suits bedrooms, living rooms, offices and any room where you want the window to recede and the light kept out.
Top style is the part that decides how the panel hangs on your rod:
Bedrooms are the main use. The dense velvet cuts most incoming light and adds a layer of insulation over the glass, which helps a room stay cooler in summer and warmer in winter. The same qualities work in a living room facing a bright street, a home office where screen glare is a problem, or a guest room that needs to darken for daytime sleep. The matte black finish is quiet and plain, so it sits well with wood, linen, brass or painted walls without asking for attention.
Order one panel per window section, or two if you want the fabric to close with fullness in the middle. For a rod pocket or Velcro panel, thread the rod or press the strip before you lift the panel into place. For hooks tape or grommets, fit the hardware first, then hang and let the fabric settle for a day or two so the folds relax. Steam or a low iron on the reverse side will soften the creases left by packing. Tiebacks are not included, so plan your holdback separately if you want the panels drawn to the sides.
Machine wash cold. Hang dry. Low iron if needed. Wash panels of the same size together so the color and finish stay even, and avoid bleach or fabric softener, which can flatten the velvet pile. A quick pass with a lint roller keeps the matte surface looking clean between washes.
It is sold as a single panel. If you want two panels on one window, add two to your cart.
The dense 300 gsm velvet blocks most incoming light, in the high shading range. It is not a coated blackout layer, so a faint glow may still show at the edges in bright daylight.
Pick rod pocket for the simplest setup, grommet top for easy sliding and soft folds, hooks tape if you already use hooks and rings, or Velcro for flat mounting and quick removal.
No. Tiebacks are not included with the panel. Add a set separately if you want the curtain held open at the sides.
