What this cafe curtain is

This is a short sheer curtain made for kitchen and cafe windows. The fabric is 100% polyester with a light, matte finish. It lets daylight through while softening the view, so the window stays bright without feeling exposed.

The top is a simple rod pocket. You slide the rod straight through the sewn channel, so there are no rings, clips or hooks to buy. The header keeps its shape and the fabric falls in soft, even folds.

The curtain is sold as a single piece. If your window needs two panels for a fuller look, order two.

Sizes

Fourteen sizes cover small kitchen windows, narrow side windows and wider cafe openings. Measurements are width by length.

Measure your rod first, then pick the width closest to it. For a relaxed look, choose a width close to your rod length. For more folds, size up. Length is a matter of taste: an 18 in drop covers the top of the window, while 24 in and 33 in drops reach further down the glass.

Colors

Three color options are available.

Multicolor shows a rainbow stripe pattern that brings a playful note to a kitchen, breakfast nook or small side window.

White is clean and quiet. It blends with white trim, light cabinets and simple kitchen setups.

Gray is a soft neutral that sits well with stainless steel, dark counters and modern fixtures.

Where it works

This curtain suits kitchen windows above a sink, small cafe windows, side windows by a door and narrow bathroom windows. The short drops are useful where you want light and a little privacy but not a full-length panel.

Because the fabric is sheer, it works well layered over a blind or on its own in rooms that do not need full blackout. In a kitchen it softens hard afternoon light. In a bathroom it covers the lower half of the window while keeping the top open.

To hang it, slide a rod through the pocket at the top. A basic tension rod or a small curtain rod both work. Spread the fabric evenly along the rod before you mount it, so the folds fall straight.

Care

Machine wash cold. Hang dry. Use a low iron if needed.

Wash single-piece curtains on their own or with similar light colors. Skip bleach and harsh detergents to keep the matte finish even. Hang the curtain while it is still slightly damp and smooth the folds by hand, which cuts down on ironing. If you do iron, keep the setting low and press on the reverse side.
