What it is

This is a round tablecloth made from 100 percent polyester lace. The fabric is sheer, with a tatted floral pattern worked across it. Because the lace is see-through, the table surface shows through the cloth, which gives a layered look over wood, glass or a solid color base.

Sizes

Two round sizes are available. Both are measured across the full diameter.

The smaller size suits a side table, a small bistro table or a single setting. The larger size covers a full dining table with room to spare. Measure your table across the middle before you choose, and add the drop you want on each side.

Color

The tablecloth comes in green. The tone reads as a true green rather than a yellow or blue green, so it sits well with white dishes, natural wood and plain glassware. One color keeps the choice simple: pick the size that fits your table and the look is set.

How to use it

Lay the cloth flat and center it on the table. The round cut follows the edge of a round table, so the drop stays even all the way around. On a smaller table, the 35 x 35 in (90 x 90 cm) size gives a short drop. On a larger table, the 71 x 71 in (180 x 180 cm) size gives a fuller drop that reaches further down the sides.

Because the lace is sheer, the table surface shows through. That makes it a good layer over a plain cloth or a bare wood top. Use it for everyday meals, holiday dinners, parties and banquets, indoors or on a covered porch. It also works on a round side table in a living room or entryway.

Care

The tablecloth is machine washable and reusable. Wash it on a gentle cycle and let it air dry. The lace is light, so it dries quickly. Fold it flat for storage between uses. With regular washing, the cloth stays ready for the next meal or gathering.
