What it is

The Foil Fringe Backdrop Curtain is a curtain of fine metallic foil strips, cut to hang in a dense, shiny fringe. It is made for backdrops, photo walls and table skirts at weddings, showers and parties. The foil catches light and gives any plain wall or table edge a finished look.

Each panel is 39 in (100 cm) wide. Panels are sold separately, so you can order the number you need for your space. The fringe hangs straight from the top edge and stays put with tape, pins or a rod, depending on your setup.

Sizes

Length is measured as width by drop. All panels are 39 in (100 cm) wide.

Size Drop Good for
39 x 39 in (100 x 100 cm) 39 in (100 cm) Short table skirts, cake tables, small photo spots
39 x 79 in (100 x 200 cm) 79 in (200 cm) Standard photo walls, doorway backdrops
39 x 118 in (100 x 300 cm) 118 in (300 cm) Tall arch drapes, full wall backdrops, floor to ceiling

For a wide backdrop, place panels side by side. Two panels cover about 78 in (200 cm) across. Three panels cover about 117 in (300 cm) across. Overlap the edges slightly so no gaps show between panels.

Colors

There are 15 colors to pick from: dark blue, gold, silver, red, light blue, black, green, yellow, pink, purple, white, champagne, rose gold, rose red and orange.

Gold, champagne and rose gold suit warm wedding palettes. Silver and white keep a backdrop clean and bright. Dark blue, black and purple give a richer evening look. Red, rose red and pink bring a bold pop for birthdays and showers. Green, yellow and light blue work for bright daytime parties. Orange adds a warm accent for fall events.

You can mix colors in the same backdrop. Order two or three shades and alternate panels for a striped effect.

How to use it

Wedding arch drapes and backdrops: hang panels behind an arch or along a wall. Tape the top edge to a frame, or fold it over a rod and secure with clips. For a full arch, use two or three panels and let the fringe fall to the floor.

Photo walls: run a line of panels across a wall at eye level or higher. The 79 in (200 cm) and 118 in (300 cm) drops work best for full body photos. Keep the fringe smooth before your event so it hangs evenly.

Table skirts: attach a 39 in (100 cm) panel along the front edge of a table with tape or pins. It hides the table legs and adds shine under a cake or gift table. For a longer skirt, use the 79 in (200 cm) drop and trim the bottom if needed.

Backdrop curtains for doorways: a single 79 in (200 cm) panel covers a standard door opening. Add a second panel for wider openings.

Care

Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not iron. Store panels flat or rolled, not folded, so the fringe stays straight for the next event.

Questions

How many panels do I need for a backdrop?

Each panel is 39 in (100 cm) wide. Two panels cover about 78 in (200 cm) across, and three cover about 117 in (300 cm). Overlap the edges a little so no gaps show.

What length should I choose?

Pick 39 x 39 in (100 x 100 cm) for table skirts and small photo spots, 39 x 79 in (100 x 200 cm) for standard photo walls and doorways, and 39 x 118 in (100 x 300 cm) for tall arch drapes and full wall backdrops.

Is this sold as a single panel or a set?

It is sold per panel. Choose your color and length, then add the number of panels you need to your cart.

Can I cut or trim the fringe?

You can trim the bottom with scissors if a panel is too long for your table or wall. Wipe the panel clean with a cloth and do not iron it.
